Brandi Nyang has a strong background in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines. Brandi started their career as an Insurance Agent at Faw Insurance Agency in 2013, where they quoted and binded insurance for business clients. Brandi then became an Insurance Agent at the same agency, managing an existing book of commercial business. In 2016, Brandi moved to Ascension Insurance, Inc. where they initially worked as a Client Service Specialist, handling insurance inquiries and providing customer service. Brandi later became a Personal Lines Account Manager, responsible for quoting and binding insurance for individuals and managing an existing book of business. In 2016, Brandi also started working at Relation Insurance Services, where they held various roles. Brandi began as a Client Service Specialist, providing support to clients, before transitioning to a Senior Client Service Specialist and then a Commercial Lines Account Manager. In 2022, they were promoted to Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager, and in 2023, they took on the role of Team Lead for Commercial Lines. Throughout their career, Brandi has demonstrated expertise in insurance sales, account management, and client service.

Brandi Nyang attended Wake Forest University from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Brandi later attended Gardner-Webb University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration. Currently, Brandi Nyang is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Queens University of Charlotte, with an expected completion date in 2024.

Brandi Nyang also holds several certifications, including a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, a CRIS (Certified Insurance Services Representative) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, and a CRIS (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist) from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. Additionally, they possess various insurance licenses for North Carolina in Life and Health Insurance, Long Term Care and Medicare Supplement, and Property and Casualty Insurance.
