Itzik Shachar is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading development teams and building scalable software solutions. Currently serving as Software Engineering Team Leader at Rekor, Itzik has successfully restructured teams and attracted top talent since September 2022. Prior roles include leadership positions at Redis, where efforts focused on the scaling and security of the cloud offering service, and NetoMedia, where Itzik oversaw multiple teams developing enterprise SaaS platforms and significantly expanded the back-end team. Earlier career experiences at Comm-IT and Thomson Reuters contributed to a strong foundation in software development, QA automation, and network engineering. Itzik holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
