Nayad Abrahamian is an experienced teaching artist and creative consultant focused on empowering diverse communities through the arts. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at Rejuv At Work, Nayad specializes in world music, dance, and painting for children. As a Volunteer Healing Artist and Educator at Hestia Healing Retreat Center, Nayad co-manages a 10-acre retreat focused on personal growth for underserved populations. Nayad has also engaged with Creative Aging SF and independently, facilitating creative programs that foster intergenerational connections and self-expression. With a strong background in youth development and advocacy through previous roles at the San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families, Nayad holds an Ed.M in Learning and Teaching from Harvard and a BA in Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University.
