Leonard Quack is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the startup and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Partner at Somerset Ventures since October 2012, Leonard specializes in acquiring small- to mid-sized owner-led companies. Leonard co-founded and held the position of Co-CEO at VGL Publishing AG, where a successful acquisition by CentralNic plc occurred in 2022, and previously established Schnäppchenfuchs.com, one of Germany's largest deal sites. Leonard's investment portfolio includes roles at ng-voice GmbH, reisetopia, and Mate. Early career experiences include a fellowship internship at McKinsey & Company and leadership at MenschDanke GmbH, where Leonard pioneered white-label partnerships in the voucher industry. Academic foundations were laid at the University of Münster and Norbert-Gymnasium, culminating in an Abitur.
