Shane McElroy has a diverse work experience in the field of design and production. Shane started their career at White Eagle Printing Co, Inc. as a Graphic Designer/Prepress Operator from September 1999 to July 2003. Shane then joined Minuteman Press as a Prepress Manager/Graphic Designer from September 2003 to September 2011. Following that, they worked at Linemark Printing as a Prepress Operator from September 2011 to September 2012. Currently, they are serving as the Design & Production Director at Reingold, Inc. since September 2012. In this role, they manage and schedules the design team's workflow, provides quality control and adherence to brand standards, and is responsible for prepressing, preparing, and submitting final files to printers and vendors.

Shane McElroy pursued their education in a chronological manner. Between the years 1995 and 1999, they attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. Following a gap in their educational pursuits, in 2010 and 2011, they enrolled at eClasses.org, where they earned a Certificate in Web Design.
