Steve Cournoyer is a seasoned professional in the marine industry with extensive experience in shipbuilding and marine operations. Currently serving as Shipyard Superintendent at Reinauer Transportation Companies, LLC since May 2019, Steve has previously held the position of Ship Superintendent/Project Manager at Senesco Marine LLC since February 2000, where responsibilities include overseeing new tank barge construction and managing various stages of vessel outfitting and delivery. Prior to these roles, Steve worked as a self-employed deckhand and engineer in Point Judith, RI, and as an Automated Fabrication Technician at Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, focusing on submarine hull fabrication and repair. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Rhode Island College, complemented by practical experience gained at the Ships and Docks School of Hard Knocks.
