Tim Runge is an accomplished leader in organizational performance and business effectiveness, currently serving as the Director of Organization and Business Effectiveness at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment since January 2024, where Tim leads the Office of Strategy, Performance, and Innovation. Prior experience includes a 14-year tenure at REI in various management roles focused on Operational Excellence, where Tim implemented continuous improvement initiatives, facilitated community practices, and aligned team visions with corporate goals. Tim also served on the Board of Directors for the Tacoma Food Co-op and held multiple positions at REI and Recycle Bicycle Shop earlier in the career. Tim holds a Master's degree in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saybrook University and a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Central Washington University.
