Nishit Shukla is a seasoned professional with a strong background in ESG research, climate policy, and education management. Currently serving as a Sr. ESG Research Associate at Ariel Investments, Nishit also co-founded ReHive, providing venture building and fundraising advisory for climate-resilient startups. Previous experience includes an EDF Climate Corps Fellowship at Crestview Partners, being an Obama Scholar at the Obama Foundation, and leading a community of climate action professionals at The Climate Ark. Nishit has contributed to impactful research initiatives, including designing an ESG materiality assessment workflow for Billion Lives Business Initiatives and co-authoring India's first city-level low-carbon transition policy roadmap for Pune. Nishit holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Harris School at the University of Chicago, along with degrees from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Manipal Institute of Technology in Mechatronics.
