Firuz Shakoori is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical manufacturing field with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of GMP Manufacturing & Supply at Regulus Therapeutics since October 2019, Firuz is responsible for the development of the Pharmaceutical Department and conducting CMC activities for early-stage clinical candidates. Prior to this role, Firuz held significant positions such as Senior Director Client Programs at Bachem Inc., where responsibilities included scaling up commercial products and overseeing operational activities, and Senior Director Manufacturing, Sciences, & Technology at Sarepta Therapeutics, focused on implementing scalable manufacturing processes. Earlier career highlights include senior roles at American Peptide Company and various leadership positions at Bachem, where Firuz contributed to sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations. Firuz holds an MS and BS in Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton.
