Carmella Teague is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in credit risk management and internal audit. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Consumer Credit at Regions Bank since January 1993, Carmella oversees credit risk management for consumer real estate portfolios, focusing on loss performance, credit policies, account management, and risk reporting. Prior to this role, Carmella worked as a Regional Supervisor for Internal Audit at Walmart from January 1990 to January 1993, where responsibilities included coordinating operational and inventory audits, training new associates, and developing internal controls and pharmacy inventory procedures. Carmella was recognized with the "1992 Freedom Award" for accuracy in inventory audit and was a top performer in multiple audits. Carmella holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama, along with education from the Walton Institute of Retail Management and Chiba University.
