James Maloney-Hawkins is a dedicated educator with experience in teaching science and math at various educational institutions. Currently serving as a Grade 6 Science Teacher at RSU 21 School District since July 2023, James previously taught Grade 6 math and science at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Värmdö for a year. James has also worked as an eighth-grade science teacher at RSU 21 and taught middle school science subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Technology, at IES Eskilstuna, utilizing the Swedish LGR11 curriculum. Earlier in the career, James gained valuable experience as a Student Teacher at Daegu International School and held multiple roles at the University of Maine at Farmington, focusing on health advocacy, community building, and mobile application development. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Chemistry Education from the University of Maine at Farmington.
