Rohan Bender, CRSP, has over 15 years of diverse experience in health, safety, and wellness management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Employee Health, Safety & Wellness at the Regional District of Nanaimo since July 2022, Rohan has previously held roles such as Health, Safety and Disability Manager at the Municipality of North Cowichan, and Environmental, Health and Safety Operations Manager at Chestermere Utilities Incorporated. Rohan's expertise includes the development and implementation of comprehensive health and safety programs, compliance with regulations, and the management of early intervention and return to work initiatives for employees. Rohan holds an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from the University of Alberta, and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TAFE NSW.
