Chris Hust is an experienced professional in asset management and engineering, currently serving as an Asset Management and Water Resources Technician at the Regional District of East Kootenay since April 2023. Prior to this role, Chris worked as an Engineering Technologist for the City of Fernie and held a position as a Planning Technician at the District of Elkford. Chris's education includes a Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Previous roles include GIS Data Management Analyst and GIS Analyst & Drone Operator at Teck Resources Limited and MPE Engineering Ltd., respectively, where Chris specialized in mapping, data management, and utility asset management. Chris's extensive experience includes quality assurance material testing, surveying, and involvement in various engineering projects throughout a career that began in 2011.
