Michael Lucking has extensive experience in the aviation sector, currently serving as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Administration at the Region of Waterloo International Airport since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michael owned Leading Edge Airport Solutions Ltd. from February 2021 to December 2023. Michael's background includes a significant tenure at WSP in Canada as a Senior Regulatory Programs Specialist in Aviation from January 2016 to February 2021. Additionally, Michael dedicated nearly a decade to the Government of Canada in various roles within Transport Canada Civil Aviation, including Technical Team Lead for Civil Aviation Safety Operations, Civil Aviation Safety Inspector for Aerodromes & Air Navigation, and Technical Support Officer for Aerodromes & Air Navigation.
