Chuck Werninger is a seasoned professional in print operations and logistics, currently serving as Chief Officer at Region 4 ESC since June 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing the primary statewide provider of Open Education Resource materials. Prior to this role, Chuck held the position of IT Senior Manager and Records Management Officer at Houston ISD, where management of records, printing services, and support for over 215,000 students was paramount. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Printing Services at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, transforming the printing operations for the university and the state. Earlier roles include prepress specialist and digital communicator at Democrat Printing and Lithographing Co., owner of a large-format printing service, and general manager at AlphaGraphics, showcasing a comprehensive background in the printing industry spanning over three decades. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Oklahoma and has pursued further education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Boston University.
