Freek Boele is an experienced logistics professional with a strong focus on sustainable urban logistics and zero-emission initiatives. Currently serving as Projectleider zero emissie stadslogistiek at Gemeente Roermond, Freek provides support aimed at achieving zero-emission city logistics within a defined zone. Simultaneously, Freek works as a Logistiek Makelaar for Midden Limburg Bereikbaar, facilitating sustainable mobility across seven municipalities in Midden-Limburg. With a founding role at Transformator, Freek has led various logistics projects bridging the private sector, government, and education since 2014. Previous roles include contributions as Logistiek Makelaar for the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel, owner of iZERO, and Projectadviseur for Gemeente Venlo, advocating for cleaner urban logistics frameworks. Freek holds a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a VWO degree from Christelijk Lyceum Dordrecht.
