Jeff Halbert, MHA, RRT, LSSGB has a rich work experience in the healthcare industry. Jeff is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Select Specialty Hospital since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Regency Hospital Company starting from July 2022. Before that, they worked at UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as the Director of Respiratory Care Services from February 2020 to March 2022. Jeff also worked at Regency Hospital Company as the Respiratory Manager/Safety Officer/Lab Manager from February 2018 to February 2020. Jeff has experience as the Respiratory Adult Clinical Coordinator at DCH Health System from June 2017 to February 2018, and as the Lead Respiratory Therapist at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital from June 2013 to June 2017.

Jeff Halbert earned their Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2017 to 2019. Jeff'sfield of study during this program was Operations Management and Supervision. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration from Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Jeff also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, which they obtained in June 2019. Jeff also has a certification in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School, obtained in 2019.
