Carine van den Berg currently serves as a Partner at Regan van Rooy and as a Corporate Finance and Business Development Consultant at Reunert, roles held since June 2017 and September 2016, respectively. Prior experience includes a decade at Sasol South Africa (Pty) Limited, where Carine held multiple senior positions including Vice President of Canada Monetisation, focusing on restructuring investments in a low gas price environment, and Vice President of Business Development for US Mega Projects, overseeing the integration of growth initiatives in the United States. Carine also established the New Business Development department and led initiatives in coal-to-liquids business establishment in South Africa. Earlier roles at Sasol included Head of Group Corporate Finance and Head of Group Management Reporting, emphasizing financial transaction management and integrated reporting systems. Academic qualifications include a Hiher Diploma in International Tax and a Diploma in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) and Honours from the University of Pretoria.
