Purity Warugu is a Child Protection and Case Management Officer at RefuSHE since February 2021, focusing on safeguarding and protection concerns for beneficiaries. With extensive experience in community-based protection, Purity previously served as a Community-based Protection Officer at Naomi's Village, where a 35% increase in community participation was facilitated. Earlier roles include Student Affairs/Exam Coordinator at Century Park College, Project Social Worker at HAART Kenya, and Research Assistant at Pendekezo Letu, each contributing to skills in counseling, program design, and community engagement. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Moi University and a Master's in Rural Sociology and Community Development from the University of Nairobi, expected in December 2023.
