Richard Gilbert

Project Delivery Manager at Refugee Council

Richard Gilbert is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in project management and technical support. Currently serving as a Project Delivery Manager at the Refugee Council since January 2022, Richard is responsible for implementing a two-phased IT plan transitioning the organization to a cloud-based environment. Prior to this role, Richard worked at the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors from April 2005 to February 2021 as the ICT and Facilities Manager, overseeing IT systems and operational infrastructure. Richard's career also includes a position as Technical Support Supervisor at Hertz (UK) Ltd, managing the IT department and support services, and as Senior Technical Support Engineer at Westminster College, where Richard managed a team during a significant IT strategy implementation. Richard holds an MSc in Medical Informatics from the University of London and a Graduate Diploma in Information Systems from the University of East London.
