Yuan Gao has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Yuan began their career as an Engineer for Muramoto Electronics Company, where they established and managed production schedules and supervised progress. Yuan also managed special purchases and reviewed and renewed bills of materials and engineering descriptions. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, where they performed research experiments and maintained the efficient operation of the lab. Most recently, they have been an Associate Scientist at Refuge Biotechnologies since 2018. Yuan is currently a Research Assistant at Nurix Therapeutics, a role they have held since 2022.

Yuan Gao obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Engineering from TUT in 2007 and a Master's degree in Horticulture from HZAU in 2011.
