Tyler Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tyler currently works as a Sales Engineer at Refractron Technologies Corp. since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Process Engineer at Johnson & Johnson Vision from February 2021 to November 2021.

From 2019 to 2021, Tyler served as a Sales Manager at Umicore, where they were responsible for technical sales and support in various industries. Tyler successfully expanded the large stationary engine market and introduced new products.

Before that, Tyler worked at Ascend Performance Materials from 2015 to 2019, initially as a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for formalin and DPO production units. Later, they became the Interim DPO/Formalin Operations Manager, overseeing safety, operations, and site initiatives.

Tyler also gained experience at Milliken Chemical from 2013 to 2015, holding roles as a Production Manager and a Process Improvement Engineer. In these positions, they led a production team, implemented safety improvements, and initiated projects to increase throughput and reliability.

Lastly, Tyler had co-op experiences at GE Energy in 2012 and 2011, where they contributed to various projects related to gas turbine systems, including improving efficiency and standardizing hazardous gas detection.

Tyler Roberts attended North Carolina State University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In March 2022, they also obtained a certification as a Commercial Pilot for Airplane Single Engine Land and an Instrument Airplane from the Federal Aviation Administration.
