Victor Bustos is a seasoned professional in the fields of biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Refoxy Pharma since July 2020. Previously, Victor Bustos held the position of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Apollo Health Ventures from August 2018 to July 2023. Prior to this entrepreneurial journey, Victor Bustos conducted postdoctoral research and completed a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing between June 2012 and July 2018, focusing on genetics, metabolism, and ageing. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cologne, a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from The University of Göttingen, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
