Brendan Watson is a seasoned marketing professional and educator with significant experience in performance marketing, digital strategy, and academia. Currently serving as Performance Marketing Manager at Refine Labs since May 2024, Brendan specializes in demand generation for B2B companies. As the Owner and Chief Strategist at Eddy Communications & Marketing, LLC since August 2019, Brendan leads strategic marketing initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Digital Marketing Strategist at Newfangled, Senior Media Manager at Level Agency, and Digital Marketing Manager at Grand Ledge Ford Lincoln & Merrill Ford Okemos. Brendan has also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at both Michigan State University and the University of Minnesota, as well as serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida State University. Brendan holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the UNC School of Media and Journalism and has a comprehensive background in digital research and journalism education.
