Mohamed AL Zamil has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Mohamed AL began their career as an associate at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, where they handled various responsibilities including issuing payment orders and processing commodity murabaha deals. Mohamed AL then moved on to Union National Bank, where they worked as an officer. Later, they joined AL Wifaq Finance Company & Islamic Banking Group in Union National Bank, where they undertook the role of operations associate, responsible for preparing and disbursing financing facilities. Mohamed AL then transitioned to Al Hilal Bank, where they held multiple roles such as assistant manager in corporate finance and section head in the corporate finance back office. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Reem Finance.

Mohamed AL Zamil has a Bachelor's degree in Management Information System (MIS) from Sharjah University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Mohamed AL also completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute-USA in 2013. Prior to attending Sharjah University, Mohamed AL Zamil studied at Abu Dhabi Commercial School in an unspecified program. Additionally, they obtained a CIB certification (Certified Islamic Banker) from Al Maali Institute, although the specific dates for this certification are unknown.
