Navaneethan Kurukkal is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at Reelwell AS since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineer (Mechanical) at Transnet National Ports Authority from January 2017 to July 2020, where Navaneethan played a lead role in annual dry-dock maintenance projects for marine vessels and was involved in project commissioning and maintenance of various equipment, including navigation, propulsion engines, corrosion protection systems, hydraulic, and process equipment. Previous to this role, Navaneethan completed vacation work at Transnet National Ports Authority from December 2013 to January 2015, gaining insights into dredging theory and applications. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering Structures and Materials from the University of Stavanger (2020-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2012-2016).
