Joshua Pitney is a Screen Arts major at Pepperdine University, with extensive experience in the film industry through various roles. Currently serving as Audience Outreach at jGift films since July 2023, Pitney promotes the film "Told They Can't" to universities for screenings. As a Pepperdine Campus Ambassador for ReelCall, Pitney recruits student filmmakers for the BeScene app. Previous roles include internships at Three Act Studios and Legacy Pictures, where Pitney gained experience in production and industry research, as well as directing a documentary with Big Heart Toys. Additional internships have included work at Xavatar and DTLA Film Festival, showcasing a commitment to diverse storytelling and supporting emerging filmmakers. Joshua Pitney has also acted in short films and documentaries, contributing to various narratives within the industry.
