Thomas Busch is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Technical Superintendent at Reederei F. Laeisz since April 2023. Prior to this role, Thomas held the same position at TT-Line from December 2016 to April 2023. Thomas gained significant technical expertise at Hamburg Süd, where the role of Chief Engineer was held from February 2011 to November 2016, encompassing oversight of the engine department and supervision of technical operations on board. Earlier experience includes positions as Second Engineer and Third/Second Engineer at NSB GROUP, focusing on maintenance planning and execution for various systems. Thomas began a career in the maritime industry with a training program as a ship mechanic at Hamburg Süd, completing the program between August 2000 and March 2003. Education was obtained at Hochschule Wismar from 2003 to 2007.
