Charlie Loud

Charlie Loud has a strong background in recruitment and has worked for multiple companies throughout their career. Charlie started their career in 1997 at Pathway Resourcing, where they worked as a Recruitment Consultant, primarily recruiting Support and Infrastructure contractors. Charlie then moved to McGregor Boyall (Alicon Consulting) in 2000, where they worked as a New Business Contract Consultant, specializing in recruiting Infrastructure and Telecommunication contractors.

In 2001, Charlie joined 1st IT People as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and Team Leader, focusing on recruiting specialist Infrastructure Engineers. Charlie later moved to Huntress in 2003, where they were promoted to Manager and managed a team of new business consultants in the IT recruitment division. Charlie was responsible for setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), training and development of staff, internal recruitment, and management of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the division.

In 2010, Charlie joined Adecco as an Interim Branch Manager in Bristol, and later they joined Modis (Part of the Adecco Group) in 2011 as a Permanent & Contract Business Manager. In this role, they were responsible for developing IT revenues and staff in the UK-South region, as well as permanent European SAP revenue. Charlie also managed the Profit and Loss (P&L) and had budgetary responsibility.

Charlie then worked as a Regional Manager at Rullion in 2013, before joining Reed in 2014 as the Regional Director for Reed Technology, London & South East. In this role, they worked with high-end clients and SMEs, delivering Permanent and Contract IT resource.

Throughout their career, Charlie has gained extensive experience in managing teams, setting and monitoring KPIs, training and development, internal recruitment, and P&L management.

Charlie Loud attended Wrexham University from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a HND in Chemical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Sexey's School in Bruton from 1987 to 1989, where they completed their A Levels. Charlie also attended King Arthurs School in Wincanton for their GCSEs. Additionally, they obtained a Black Belt Certificate from Social Talent in April 2016.
