Before joining their team, Macey worked in the Office of Communications and Marketing at her alma mater, Auburn University, where she learned to be a stickler for AP style and photographed Brad Paisley at an on-campus concert. In fact, Macey was born and raised in Alabama. Maybe that explains her natural talent for making clients and team members feel like a part of her family.
As vice president, Macey puts her big smile and PR skills to good use and runs point on multiple accounts. Her event planning background has also come in handy while tackling major projects like coordinating 29 days of McDonald’s activations in just 2.5 months.
Macey’s list of professional achievements goes on and on, but she would tell you her greatest professional achievement was placing THE TENNESSEAN Hotel in Southern Living as the South’s Best Hotel of 2018, one of the most prestigious designations for a luxury property in the country.
In addition to her client work, Macey also spearheads business development.
Aside from her unabated work ethic and rockstar results, Macey has a knack for turning frowns upside down. If you’re having a bad day, give REED a call—Macey will talk to you with the familiarity of an old friend and turn your day around. Seriously, just ask the clerk at her local Kroger.
In Macey’s free time, you’ll find her cooking epic meals for her husband Ben or for whichever guest she’s hosting that night. For Macey, Southern hospitality is more than just a cliché—it’s a lifestyle.
