Bill Birck is the Chief Executive Officer of Reed Construction. Having joined the firm in 2000, he has over 20 years of experience in the industry and is the fifth generation heading the family-owned firm that was established in 1893. Bill enjoys acting as a mentor for team leaders and project management staff, and also engages in regular strategic planning initiatives to move the company forward. He is dedicated to maintaining strong working relationships with clients, ensuring that Reed’s renowned reputation for delivering quality construction solutions is upheld.

Bill believes that the strength of the firm is directly related to the quality of its staff. As such, Reed employees are offered numerous professional and safety training opportunities, a culture that encourages teamwork and the latest trends in project management and jobsite technology. Bill is also passionate about giving back to the community, and started the Reed Construction Foundation to support numerous philanthropic organizations throughout Chicago. Reed employees are also lent financial support and resources for their individual philanthropic endeavors.

Bill is a LEED Accredited Professional, and is an active member of various professional organizations, including the Young Presidents’ Organization, the Economic Club of Chicago and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
