James Whitlow Delano is a seasoned photographer, communicator, and storyteller with over two decades of experience living in Asia. As the founder of the EverydayClimateChange Instagram feed, Delano has gained international recognition for work that spans various regions, including China, Japan, Afghanistan, and Burma (Myanmar). Delano’s achievements include prestigious awards such as the Alfred Eisenstadt Award and Leica’s Oskar Barnack. Contributions extend to numerous renowned publications like National Geographic, Time, and the New York Times Magazine. Delano has also published several monographs, including "Empire: Impressions from China" and "Black Tsunami: Japan 2011," further solidifying a prominent presence in contemporary photography and storytelling. Education includes attendance at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1982 to 1985.
