Patrick Cruikshank is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in adaptive video streaming applications, holding senior positions at REDspace Inc., DIRECTV, and AT&T. With expertise in various adaptive streaming technologies such as DASH, HLS, and DRM, Patrick focuses on developing applications across multiple platforms, including web and Tizen smart TVs, alongside mobile development. Prior to their software engineering career, Patrick gained geological experience through roles at Vale and Kaminak Gold Corporation, and holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from University College Dublin, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Western University.
