Marc Leavitt is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in business development and investment management. Currently, Leavitt is engaged in business development at Redmile Group since January 2022. Previous roles include Director of Absolute Return Strategies at Texas Municipal Retirement from December 2014 to May 2021, overseeing a $35 billion retirement system, and at Texas Permanent School Fund from May 2013 to December 2014, managing around $30 billion in assets for public schools. Leavitt's experience also encompasses investment management at Blueprint Capital Management and Austin Capital Management, as well as senior analyst roles at New England Pension Consultants and Arthur Andersen. Leavitt holds an MBA in Finance and International Management from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School, completed between 2001 and 2003.
