Brian Sam-Bodden is a Senior Applied AI Engineer and Senior Developer Advocate at Redis since November 2020, specializing in AI and the Java Platform while also supporting various programming communities. As the founder of Binnacle, LLC., Brian developed a scalable event-driven service and messaging platform. Extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Integrallis Software LLC, where numerous applications for various clients were built, and leadership roles in architectural design and training across multiple companies, including Citadel, Visa, and Walmart Labs. Brian is an active speaker at international conferences and is pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts in Data Science at Harvard University. Academic qualifications include dual B.A. degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Gracie Barra.
