Viju Chakarapany is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology leadership and sales strategy across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Vice President & Head of Commercial Sales at Red Hat since July 2016, Viju leads the sales and strategy for the company’s commercial segment across APAC, Japan, and Greater China. Previous roles include Senior Director & Regional Head for Red Hat-IBM Synergy and Solution Architecture & Enablement, where Viju spearheaded co-selling initiatives and led solution architect teams. Viju has a robust background at Microsoft Asia, managing cloud productivity practices and sales excellence across the Gulf region. Viju holds an MBA in IT from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from QUT, along with a General Management Program certificate from Harvard Business School.
