Niels De Graef is a Senior Product Owner at Red Hat since October 2021 and has been a member of the GNOME Foundation since September 2017, where Niels maintains several core apps and libraries while contributing to various other projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Barco from October 2017 to September 2021, focusing on multimedia livestreams using GStreamer and GLib, as well as hardware-accelerated media processing. Niels also worked at Solvace in a short-term position as a Software Engineer in July 2016, migrating a custom application to a Ruby on Rails/EmberJS web app. Niels holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Ghent University.
