Clebert Suconic is an experienced software engineer with extensive expertise in messaging systems and open source projects. Currently serving as an ActiveMQ Committer at The Apache Software Foundation since October 2014, Clebert is responsible for maintaining ActiveMQ, leading the development of ActiveMQ Artemis, building its community, and advancing messaging beyond JMS. Additionally, as the HornetQ Project Lead at Red Hat since October 2010, Clebert oversees the maintenance and political aspects of the project while collaborating with engineers on design. Previously, as a Principal Software Engineer at JBoss Inc since January 2005 and a Technical Consultant at Summa Technologies from January 2002 to December 2004, Clebert has contributed significantly to various projects. Additional roles include consultancy for Sun Microsystems, Regional Tech Manager at TogetherSoft, CTO at Image Technology, and System Analyst at Jockey Club Sao Paulo. Clebert holds an education from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
