Alberto Ruiz is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Red Hat In-Vehicle Operating System, Alberto leads two teams focused on graphics, media, and virtualization stacks. Prior positions include Software Development Manager at AWS and various managerial roles at Red Hat, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing engineering teams for desktop and hardware enablement projects. Alberto's background also includes roles at Canonical Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, and at Sun Microsystems as an Open Source Evangelist.
