Amelia Klein is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Supervising Solicitor for the Financial Abuse Service at Redfern Legal Centre since April 2022. In this role, Amelia provides legal advice and representation in credit, debt, and consumer law, while also engaging in policy and law reform efforts to advocate for consumer rights. Prior to this position, Amelia has held various roles including Solicitor at Lawpoint Lawyers and Senior Associate Solicitor at Navado Legal & Financial Group, where management of junior solicitors and a diverse caseload was emphasized. Amelia's legal career began with roles in community legal centres and various internships, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science from UNSW, along with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
