Mike Bauerly is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in product design and user experience across major technology companies. Currently serving as the Director Of Product Design at Reddit, Inc., since January 2020, Mike oversees design management for Core Product Design teams. Prior to this role, Mike held design management positions at Google, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on integrating artificial intelligence into products, and at X: The Moonshot Factory, leading the UX Discipline. Mike's career includes critical contributions to Amazon Lab126 as Creative Director for Amazon Fire TV and experience with Sony and Sony Ericsson as an Interaction Designer. Mike earned a PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering and has a strong academic background with degrees in Industrial Engineering and Studio Art from the University of Michigan and the University of Iowa.
