Maria Vidart-Delgado, PhD, is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in user experience and design research across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher in Safety at Reddit, Inc. since January 2023, Maria previously worked at Xero as a Senior Design Researcher, focusing on tools to aid accountants in managing tax obligations. With a background as a Senior UX Researcher at Ad Hoc LLC, Maria researched government services to enhance user experience, and also implemented API documentation best practices. Earlier roles include Bilingual Web Content Manager at the Union of Concerned Scientists, Co-Founder and Lead Design Researcher at the Department of Play, and an academic track that includes lecturing and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Maria holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Rice University and a BA from Universidad de Los Andes.
