April K. is a skilled geospatial analyst currently contracted with RedCastle Resources, Inc. at the Forest Serviceā€™s Geospatial Technology and Applications Center (GTAC), where responsibilities include analytical collaboration on geospatial projects and educating participants in remote sensing and GIS. Previous experience includes managing GIS operations for the Spokane Tribe of Indians, conducting advanced geospatial analysis as a technician at the University of Idaho Experimental Forest, and contributing to research at Washington State University. April K. also possesses substantial teaching experience at both Appalachian State University and the University of Idaho. With a strong academic background, including a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a Master's in Geography, April K. has developed expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and ecological research across various environments.
