Tom Sommer has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tom started as a Software Engineer at Trike Apps in 2009 and worked there for 3 years. In 2013, they joined Redbubble as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Technical Team Lead. From 2015 to 2017, Tom worked as an Engineering Manager at Redbubble, leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Redbubble, where they are responsible for the re-development of the fulfillment system, overseeing internship and junior programs, and developing and growing the engineering team. Tom is passionate about creating a high-performing team environment and helping individuals achieve their personal development goals.

Tom Sommer attended RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree. Their field of study focused on Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration.
