Melissa Villemarette Scanlon currently serves as a Lifecycle Services Account Executive at Red River since November 2023. Previously, Melissa held the position of Senior Account Executive at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from February 2021 to November 2023, focusing on the Federal Civilian team and supporting the US Department of Veteran's Affairs. In a prior role at Cisco, Melissa worked as a Strategic Account Manager and Account Manager, where responsibilities included streamlining team and solution alignment with agency strategic initiatives and managing healthcare-focused accounts in the Federal segment. Earlier experience includes serving as a Federal Account Manager at World Wide Technology and as a Federal Sales Executive at Xerox. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Elon University between 2001 and 2005.
