Sam Adams is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in both startup and corporate environments. Currently serving as a Founding Software Engineer at Red Planet Labs since June 2022, Sam also works as a Freelance Software Engineer. Previously, Sam held various roles at Amazon from August 2018 to August 2021, including Software Development Engineer II and I, where significant contributions involved the development of a key inbox and alerting feature for a web application, enhancing operational efficiency for AWS financial analysts. An internship as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon in mid-2017 focused on creating a SQL query builder for security engineers' workflows. Earlier experience includes an Equity Analyst internship at Valhalla Capital, LP, where Sam evaluated technology sector investment opportunities, and a staff position at Cherry Deli & Catering that emphasized customer service.
