Candy James has a comprehensive work experience in the food industry. Candy started their career as a Menu Development Manager at Goodmeasure Meals Inc. in 2004 and worked there until 2007. Candy then joined la Madeleine as an R&D Manager in 2007 and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, Candy worked at Athens Foods as a Research & Development Manager Chef. Their most recent position was at Red Mango USA, where they served as the Director of Product Development & Quality Assurance since 2009. In this role, they developed frozen yogurt and beverage products, provided training and support, and ensured food safety and quality assurance.
Candy James attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1975 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science. Later, they pursued their culinary passion and enrolled at The Art Institutes from 2002 to 2004, receiving an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts.
