Gijs Halm is an experienced professional in business development and corporate finance, currently holding the position of Business Development at RED Company since June 2022, where the focus is on an integrated approach to real estate development. Prior to this role, Gijs served in various senior positions at Kempen & Co from July 2007 to February 2022, including Managing Director, Executive Director, and Director of Corporate Finance. Gijs began a career in finance with a thesis internship at BDO CampsObers Corporate Finance B.V. in late 2006, which examined behavioral influences in the selling process of small and medium-sized businesses. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Sales Junior at eProjects from 2003 to 2005, responsible for client development and product management. Gijs holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University and an International Master in Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
