Keith Garton has an extensive background in the publishing industry with significant leadership roles. Currently serving as President and Publisher of Red Chair Press, LLC since 2009, Keith focuses on creating inspiring educational materials for children. Previously, Keith was a Board Member for the Independent Book Publishers Association from 2016 to 2018 and a Board of Director member for the Vermont Center for the Book from 2011 to 2012. Prior positions include Senior Vice President of Product Development at Weekly Reader Corporation, where Keith expanded the brand into educational markets, and President at TIME Learning Ventures, where opportunities for educational partnerships were developed. Other notable roles include Publisher and Editorial Director for TIME For Kids Magazine, various positions in marketing and senior leadership at Prentice Hall, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, and serving as President of the Association of Educational Publishers. Keith holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Oklahoma State University.
