Kay Hensen has extensive experience in contract management and consulting, currently serving as the Director of Contracts at Red Carrot since September 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing contract life-cycles and logistics. Kay Hensen operates Kay Hensen Consulting, established in March 2015, providing acquisition strategy and proposal writing services to government contractors. Previously, from February 2017 to August 2022, Kay Hensen was the Director of Contracts at Federal Conference, leading government contract workload distribution and project execution oversight. Earlier roles include Senior Contract Manager/Compliance Officer at Docupak, Supervisory Contracting Officer for both the Montana Army National Guard and National Guard Bureau, and Contracting Officer in the Ohio Army National Guard. Kay Hensen holds a Master of Business Administration in Military and Strategic Leadership from Touro University California.
